A very rare specimen from a one-time 2004 find in Madagascar. These first appeared at the Tucson show in 2005 - all crystals came from a single pocket and there have been no more found. The find consisted of Quartz crystals containing unique inclusions of blue/purple Fluorite, mostly octahedral or octahedral with cubic modifications. Very few of the Quartz crystals had clear faces; most had a rather silky texture and it was difficult to see details of the inclusions clearly. This crystal has been left in its natural, unpolished state and contains numerous Fluorite crystal inclusions and even some "NEGATIVE CRYSTALS", empty spaces in the shape of Fluorite octahedrons that are no longer there! The Fluorite crystals are a lovely violet color. Don't miss out on this - it's been years since this discovery and extensive exploration has yielded no more material.
