A beautiful and unusual antique Art Deco triangular shaped, sequin encrusted bag, with seed bead handles. Such an adorable little piece. There are literally thousands of sequins in a gorgeous silvery gold colour, all painstakingly hand sewn on, along with glass seed beads in white and dusky pink. Remarkably, all of these are present. If there appear to be some missing in the pictures, this is just a trick of the light.
The handles are so sweet. You would hold the bag with one or two fingers through the handles, or alternatively use as a clutch.
It has a metal frame around the top and fastens with a kiss clasp. The little bag is lined with cream grosgrain silk, which is in fabulous condition. The interior is lovely and clean, and it even has its original mirror! Which is all intact. There is a label sewn inside which simply says 'Foreign', which just adds to its immense charm.
In Remarkable Condition for almost 100 years old!
