We have acquired a large estate doll collection of 1950's 8'' hard plastic dolls & accessories; Ginny, Muffie, Betsy McCall, etc. We will be listing them over the next several weeks.

This doll is Betsy McCall, marked McCall Corp. 1958. She is 8'' high, all hard plastic, jointed at the neck, shoulders, hips & knees. Her body is in good, clean condition with tight arms & bending knees. She does not sit. There is no crotch split & just minimal knee chipping.

Her face is lovely with bright coloring, very rosy cheeks and no paint rubs. Betsy has brunette hair with an early mesh cap. Both hair clips are intact. Her hair is quite curly. I can't tell if it's been trimmed. Looks cute.

Betsy is wearing an original 'Birthday Party' dress. This is a white ruffled dress over a pink satin skirt, with an added pink sash. Plus  a replaced pink straw hat w/ flower and white panties. Also original white shoes. The outfit is in great shape. Cute little Betsy!
