This is a pair of vintage black rimmed reading glasses- 1930s-40s. On gold plate metal fittings.  

Each lens measures 4.5 cm in width and 4 cm in height. Overall width from one side to the other is 10.5 cm.

 The sides are bendy wire , so comfortable to wear.
