Model "Castellum 3" 
In the center of the Iberian Peninsula remains of numerous castles from the Middle Ages are found which form a part of the landscape of the area and a faithful memory of past times. These monuments are usually located outside of small modern villages. Most are at the forefront of small hills that dominate a large plain of the Meseta. Architecturally, these forts with a simple floor plan in the square, which is defended by strong prisms and cylinders of considerable height. The entrances and openings are held disproportionately low.
