This antique Victorian era white cotton broderie anglaise eyelet lace pleated shirt bodice blouse dates from 1870. It is made of a white cotton fabric with pleating and broderie anglaise eyelet embroidery drawn cutwork whitework lace ruffle trim edging. This beautiful bodice blouse womens shirt has a fitted tailored style with a high neck band collar, gathered puff shoulders, leg of mutton sleeves with lace trim cuffs, mother of pearl buttons down the front for closures and is unlined. The top measures 18 inches long, with a 32 inch bust, 24 inch waist, 11 inch back, 22 inch long sleeves and 12 inch neck. It is in good as-is condition, with a missing button, a small frayed open seam and tiny pin hole on the front (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana textile lace wearable art!
