This vintage Edwardian era Swim Easy swimsuit blue polka dot cotton dress and bloomers dates from 1911. It is made of a blue cotton fabric, with blue and white polka dot print trim edging the neckline and sleeve cuffs. This wonderful women's old fashioned bathing suit one piece romper swimsuit dress has a bid front button top closure, belted button front waistband, short sleeves, bloomer pantaloons pants with gathered leg cuffs sewn inside attached underneath and unlined. There is an "Swim Easy" Made for Myers Mfg. Co. in Los Angeles, CA. with a Patent date April 11, 1911 label sewn inside the back neck. The dress measures 39 inches long, with the pants it is 43 inch long, a 38 inch bust, 27 inch waist and 12 inch back. It is in good as-is condition, with one broken button closure at the neck and some fade discoloration bleach staining in areas (see close-ups). This antique authentic "bathing beauty" costume is truly a rare and wonderful piece of wearable art!
