This is the ultra rare limited edition 4 CD set that pulls together everything that Colourbox released on 4AD and a few ultra rarities too. There are 58 tracks in total, including

- the previously unreleased 8 BBC session tracks

- the extended version of Arena

- the non cross-faded version of Philip Glass

- the rare missing 3 tracks from their one and only album that were not on the original CD album release. (Sex Gun is such a superb song)


Indeed, this box set has a vast number of tracks that have never been issued on CD. This set was a strictly limited edition of 2,000 only and sold out almost instantly. If you missed out, you will have been kicking yourself. This is a superb box set - worth every penny.


As you can see by my 5 pictures, you win -

- the 4 CDs each in individual double side printed cardboard sleeves

- the snugly fitting box that separates very neatly in two

- 10 double sided cards that display all the singles' artwork plus extensive details about each track on each original release. Plus it has more about the BBC sessions and the other rare tracks.

 

I have photographed it as best I can to show its beauty, but it is much more beautiful in real life. You will spend all the time while listening to the CDs, gazing at this amazing box set.


The CDs have some very light surface scratches but they play perfectly. There are no tears in the cardboard but does have one or two very slight dunts which you hardly notice. It is not perfect, but very close!


Due to the precious nature of this box set, it will be well wrapped up in plenty of bubble wrap so it is not damaged in the post. And that costs you nothing, wherever you live. P&P is FREE

Who is BlackPaperCrown?
