VINTAGE PINE FLOORING is a 25 year old company specializing in wide plank pine heart flooring. We are proud to offer you our Tavern Select grade unfinished pine flooring . This flooring is harvested and produced right here in America providing jobs for Americans. This is a select grade flooring not the # 2 utility grade that some companies try to pass off as flooring.  Material is mostly longleaf southern yellow, new growth heart pine flooring. It is hand selected for quality and beauty and has been defected out, no loose or large knots. It is a good mixture of vertical grain and standard flat sawn wood. Flooring is presanded but may require some light filling and touch up sanding to be ready for your choice in a finish. We guarantee no blue stain ever, blue stain is a defect that a lot of companies will tell you that its a seasonal problem and will pass it on to there customers, in fact it is just a sign of bad quality control, and is a cheaper grade of wood. Our flooring was recently harvested from old growth pine plantations using a environmentally friendly process known as select cutting.  The mature longleaf yellow pine is the hardest of all the American pine species, with a janka hardness of 870 compared to red pines 560 and white pines 380. This flooring will look awesome in your home or business and is easily site finished because it has been presanded.  The flooring is a solid 3/4" thick, tongue and groove, kiln dried, has stress relief grooves on the back side,  and comes in all long lengths, 8 and 10 foot, we also stock 12 foot, 14 foot, and 16 footers for local pickup or delivery on our trucks.  Longer lengths mean less splices which means a  tighter floor. Our flooring is sold by the actual square foot, not the deceptive lineal foot price that other companies quote. Pricing is as follows 6" wide is only 2.25 sq.ft. and 8" is 2.40 sq.ft. and the 10" is 2.60 sq.ft.  We always keep a good inventory of this material in stock. All flooring comes shrink wrapped in bundles of five to control moisture and help prevent damage.

While shopping for wide plank flooring for my own home, I naturally contacted a supplier that advertises in just about every home magazine out there. I needed 1,700 sq.ft. Their cheapest price $7.50 sq.ft. total $12,750. So I Googled! Enter - Vintage Pine Flooring  10" wide pine flooring, all 12' long & unfinished. $2.45 sq. ft.! I just saved over $8,500! This can't be right. What's this going to look like? Georgia to Arizona? Floorings beautiful! threw in 5 extra boards in case of damage. I have sorted through all of it. Only found 6 boards that I couldn't use on a long run.( save them for the closets ) I'm a finish carpenter of 25 yrs. so I'm the installer. In addition the man gave me some great tricks of the trade tips, as well as, where to buy cut-nails ( face nailing )& who's finish to use. Highly satisfied with Vintage Pine Flooring
I highly recommend Vintage Price Flooring as they provided a beautiful product at a very competitive price with extremely quick service. The material was well packed and arrived in great shape. The owner worked with me to analyze my exact needs (different lengths for different rooms etc) which helped minimize waste and overall cost. Shipping was calculated in the pre-paid package price but the owner was able to negotiate a better price and refunded the difference to me - very honest as well. I am now ordering additional flooring for a new project.
