2 x GT2 Pulley & 2m Timing Belt Kit
The GT2 Series of belts and pulleys will significantly increase your RepRap print quality. The GT2 series is specifically designed for linear motion, using a rounded tooth profile it ensures the belt tooth fits precisely in pulley groove. When reversing the pulley direction there is no room for the belt to move in the pulley groove, this greatly reduces the backlash improving print consistency.
For optimal performance you ideally want at least 6 teeth in contact with the pulley at all times, this means at minimum a 12 toothed pulley. Our GT2 pulleys have 20 teeth giving an excellent reduction in backlash but also keeping torque and print resolution high.
The belts in our kits coming in open lengths which can be easily cut using scissors to your desired lengths for each axis.
