Wade whimsies are tiny ornaments that are only approximately 1 to 2 inches tall by the same wide.  They are collected by adults and children alike worldwide.  Some have become extremely rare and are highly collectable.   Wade England situated in Stoke on Trent in England originally intended the Wade whimsie line to be for children as pocket money toys and were given as a gift in food items such as tea.  Coupons had to be collected for each wade whimsie on offer.   Sometimes they were offered free in the promotions and other times they went on sale and could be purchased from Wade or from outlets.  Wade England are still producing Wade Whimsies to this day and are collected by children and adults alike.
