The SureStim M Plus+ is expandable, up to a two-dog system, and features a positive vibration feedback in the handheld Transmitter, acknowledging that you have fully engaged the Transmitter buttons, perfect for low visibility or training with gloves. It also features a ½-mile range, rechargeable batteries, fully waterproof Receiver and Transmitter, and a low to medium stimulation output.
The 1/2 mile (804m) Dogtra SureStim M Plus+ is an expandable low to mid-range power training collar featuring "SureStim" that lets you know for sure that you have pressed a stimulation or pager button through a positive feedback vibration in the handheld transmitter. (Sure Stim can be deactivated to preserve transmitter battery life.) It offers continuous and momentary stimulation plus non-stimulating vibration. Features a smaller receiver collar designed for smaller dogs. Can be expanded into a 2-dog system.

DOG TRAINING MUST BE HUMANE TO BE EFFECTIVE
IMPORTANT: Do not attach leash to the Training Collar. When taking on a walk, attach a collar below the training collar and attach the leash. Do not keep the bark collar on your dog for more than 12 hours. Any collar receiver worn for extended periods can cause a condition similar to bedsores, known as Pressure Necrosis. The static stimulation will not harm your dog. Mild static stimulation that your dog feels is designed to be undesirable so your dog will avoid it, yet is totally harmless and humane. Alway start out at the lowest setting and read your owners manual thoroughly before beginning the training process.
Dog training must be humane. However dogs are not human beings, they are pack animals, so they need an established pack order. Effective training demands that you must be the pack leader, assertive and strong, but calm. Your emotions are transferred to your dog, so if you are anxious, your dog will become anxious. If you are calm, your dog will remain calm.
Teaching your dog to do something or breaking him of a bad habit can only be done by creating nice feelings associated with good behavior (reward training) or by creating small unpleasant feelings associated with bad behavior (aversive training).
Most successful training involves a balanced and appropriate blend of both reward and aversive training. Electronic training is most effective as part of just such a balanced training regime.
Aversive training can only be effective if the aversive stimulus is proportionate, getting the animals attention by being sufficiently unpleasant, but causing no harm or lasting effects.
When dealing with breaking your dog of an undesirable habit, it is impossible to “unlearn” undesirable behavior by ignoring it or rewarding it and this is where the controlled, repeatable and safe aversive stimuli available from electronic training aids work wonders.
What is the average time needed to train a dog?
The training time varies with each dog and each trainer. It will depend on what you are trying to train the dog to do, the trainers skill, and the type of dog being trained. Dogs learn in small stages, his understanding is tested at each stage. On an average it takes 10 minutes twice a day for 2 weeks to train your dog.
