This exquisite burl elm revolving bookcase was recently crafted in England as an antique Georgian reproduction. The burl elm displays an incredibly rich complexion and a highly pronounced grain, both of which look especially striking in contrast with the satinwood fan inlay that adorns the center of the bookcase. The design itself is also quite attractive, with a series of vertical supports on each of the four sides. Resting on a sturdy plinth base, this bookcase simply rotates in place, hence its “revolving” namesake. Because this antique style bookcase is new, it remains in excellent condition; because it was crafted in England by an expert cabinetmaker, it will last for many decades to come, growing more beautiful over time as a patina sets in and the wood begins to develop in richness and character. Each of the shelf areas on the bookcase (eight in total) measure 9.25″ wide x 6.5″ deep x 12.75″ tall.
