  • A: With ARP 2000 rod bolts, our conrods are good for 600-800 HP. If you need our conrods to hold over 800 HP, please upgrade to ARP L19 rod bolts with additional cost.
  • Q2. What is the torque of the bolts setted?
  • A: The torque of 3/8" thread size ARP rod bolts is 48 foot pound. The torque of 5/16" thread size ARP rod bolts is 28 foot pound.The professional installation is strongly recommended.
  • Q3: Can I use original pistons and rod bearings with these conrods？
  • A: Our conrods are high performance aftermarket replacement conrods. They are designed for floating pin pistons. And we recommend strongly you to use high performance rod bearings. All of our conrods fit for standard size rod bearings.

  • A: Rod bolt is unquestionably a very important fastener in the engine; they hold the key to the entire rotating assembly. It secure the connecting rod and bearing to the crankshaft.
