The sticker inside states "E.R. Pfrekschner Mittenwald Obb. 1970 Hand made copy of Antonius Stradivarius West Germany". Another smaller sticker says "Roth Shop Adjusted Model: 301? (can't make out the last number) #: 70C Date: 6/70".
The violin is in decent cosmetic condition. It does show many marks on the body and flaws in the finish. There are no missing pieces on this instrument, and it seems to be well made. There is some minor depression of the wood around the exterior rim of the body (I don't know the technical name for it), and there is a crack coming from one of the "F" holes. I highlighted this crack in one of the photos.
The hardware looks to be in good shape and the tuning knobs are a little stiff, but turn well. I'm not sure of the condition of the strings. The bow is in good condition with much of the hair remaining. Please look over the photos carefully to see the exact condition of this violin.
Included with the violin is the bow, block of rosin, and latching carry case.
