LEE FILTERS KIT

Consists of:

1x Lee Filters Foundation Kit (Filter Holder)

The Foundation Kit is at the centre of the LEE Filter holder system and is primarily designed to take standard 100mm filters.

The holder is supplied in component form to allow you to construct a filter holder to your individual needs. The holder clips easily onto the Adapter Ring and can then be rotated to position filters to your exact requirement enabling optimum use of graduated and special effects filters. It allows 1,2,3 filters to be attached to almost every lens on every format camera.

These filters enable the photographer to adjust exposure over part of the photograph without effecting colour balance. For example, when photographing a landscape in which the sky is much brighter than the foreground, placing the Neutral Density part of the filter onto the sky in the frame will reduce the sky exposure without effecting the foreground. This enables cloud detail to be kept correctly exposed and avoids the “white out” effect caused by exposing for the foreground.

0.6 Reduces exposure to selected area by 2 stops, without affecting colour balance.

0.9 Reduces exposure  to selected area by 3 stops, without affecting colour balance.

 LEE FILTERS BIG STOPPER 100x100mm

By greatly extending exposure times the Big Stopper has the effect of allowing anything that is moving in your image to become blurred or ghost like, for example clouds, waterfalls, rivers, and the sea.

The filter can also be used on cityscapes to blur people or on roads and motorways to blur traffic.

 1x 72mm Standard Adapter

Other Standard Adapter Ring sizes available: 49mm, 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, 82mm, 86mm, 93mm, 95mm and 105mm.
