SEIKO SKX007 Divers watch with a gorgeous vintage patina. 

This is the stunning SKX007, an iconic, sleek, rugged, virtually indestructible 42mm divers watch everyone knows and loves. It was an original SKX007 up until a couple days ago, when I decided to pick it down to its bare bones and knuckles to overhaul it, give it new gaskets and a serious movement regulation. At the same time I decided I would modify the look of the watch, giving it a purposely old look and match it with a sexy leather strap. It just radiates character and will be a great story-teller watch.

The dial has patina lume plots, patina dial printing and an extra matte finished surface with signs of age which is meant to simulate around 30 years of active diving and rescue operations around the globe. Hands have been hit hard by the harsh UV radiation while you were working in Hawaii, examining lava samples and riding insane 20ft waves on your spare time. When looking at the stunning dial you will also notice how it seamlessly blends into the aged chapter ring. Yes, it too has undergone countless hours on the surgery table to manifest the most stunning SEIKO ever. Nothing was ignored on this watch, the day and date wheels have been surgically removed from the movement and a layer of vintage sludge has been added and the bezel and bezel insert has undergone massive rework to simulate and collaborate the true "age story". 

You've worn this watch with pride, while ascending to the peak of everest, keeping accurate time at the north and south pole, big game fishing in the south pacific and building countless rescue shelters in Africa. 

The watch is in strong running condition rated at Good - Very good condition on the TZ grading system. This is my personal and honest opinion of the condition. The watch its self is free from major dings and scratches. All the visual wear has been intentionally applied to simulate a true mans watch, which has been carried around for many years during unbelievable weather conditions.

The strap shows evidence of wear and truly matches the survival skill of the owner.
