The 1901 'RF fotoBag' - Leather Camera Bag - Classic Black

 Designed to be supple, minimalist and classic in appearance, the 1901 ‘RF fotobag’ is hand made of very fine quality, full grain leather. 

The bag is designed for low profile photography with fast and quiet access to one's equipment, keeping it poised for that 'decisive moment'

The 1901 ‘RF fotobag’ is aimed at photographers with either rangefinder, classic TLR or SLR systems, digital compact system outfits or simply 

the compact camera user with additional room for other gadgets - and before you ask the full range of ipad and other tablets up to 250mm in 

length will fit nicely into the centre section of the bag.

*FINE QUALITY MATERIALS - The 1901 RF fotobag is hand made of very fine quality full grain English leather. The leather skins are hand selected 

by myself and are the very best available. Top grain leather attains a lovely patina with time and just improves with use. The leather has a natural 

water resistance and is stitched with strong waterproof thread for extra longevity.

The interior lining is made from tough biscuit coloured cotton with a smooth tactile finish.

*VERSATILE INTERIOR - The interior measures 260mm x 90mm x 200mm deep and has one large main compartment with a cushioned base, 

ideal for a camera with a mounted lens or other large gadget. This main compartment is surrounded by six padded pockets ideal for lenses, camera bodies, 

light meters, rolls of film etc. These pockets are permanent but very flexible and can be manipulated with equipment or moved to one side as one wishes. 

They are sealed at the base so small items won't go AWOL.

The front of the bag has two flat pockets each measuring 125mm x 160mm deep and are ideal for personal items.

*FAST ACCESS - The main flap allows fast, silent access to the complete interior of the bag with no fumbling with clips, zips or noisy Velcro fastenings. 

A single hand movement (see image) can pull the flap open with no fuss. The flap can be then be left in the loose position or again, with a single hand be 

slipped back behind the strong elasticated retaining band.

*FAST STRAP - The strap is made from a very smooth and supple nylon belt material and can be adjusted easily using the chrome fittings. 

The smooth material allows the bag to slide easily across the shoulder from the hip to the working position in-front of the photographer and back again 

with a single-handed action.

I designed this bag to compliment my own way of working. After trying many camera bags over the years I thought it was about time to have 

a go at creating "the perfect bag"

THE '1901' STRAP RANGE:

EGGLESTON  -  A simple 11mm wide leather strap. Available in adjustable and custom made lengths.

STEICHEN  -  The same as an 'Eggleston' but with a shoulder pad. Available in adjustable and custom made lengths.

RODCHENKO  -  The same as a 'Steichen' but with a wider shoulder pad for heavier equipment. Available in adjustable and custom made lengths.

CARADOG  -  A supple wrist strap with an adjustable wrist loop.   Named after my great friend and photographer: Caradog (Ray) Williams 1931-2011. Available in standard and loop end attachments.

BURRI  -  A longer wrist strap with a lariat adjustment for added security. 

LEITER eggleston  -  9mm wide version of the standard 'Eggleston' for cameras with narrower strap attachments. Available in regular and custom lengths.

LEITER steichen  -  9mm wide version of the standard 'Steichen' for cameras with narrower strap attachments. Available in regular and custom lengths.

CAMERA PROTECTION PADS  -  Matching leather camera protectors that work with any of our standard neck straps.

Our limited warranty covers against defects in material or workmanship one year from the date of purchase.
