~ Vintage 1950's Floral Embroidery / Tapestry Lucite Framed Evening Bag, Hong Kong  ~

This beautiful little vintage evening bag is made of a heavy weight cream fabric, woven with a large floral bouquet and scroll borders to mimic traditional tapestry motifs. The design is made up in dusky rose, mustard yellow, powder blue and leaf green with delicate strands of metallic gold thread running through the design.

The bag has a dark amber coloured lucite frame with twist style clasp. The bag is lined in dark brown fabric and labelled "Made in Hong Kong."

The bag measures 5 inches (13cm) tall by 8 inches (20cm) wide.

~ Condition ~

The bag is in excellent vintage condition for its age and type. It is clean both inside and out.
