They provide multi-stage filtration and come with 3 or 4 media baskets ( depending on model. 2000LPH has 4 baskets ). Inlet and outlet tubes ( both supplied with the units ) circulate water through the baskets inside the canister. The baskets can be filled with biological, mechanical and chemical filtration media. Each unit will come supplied with filter sponge.

Shut-off taps on both the inlet and outlet make it easy to remove the filter for maintenance and cleaning.
