French 950 Standard Silver Pair of Guilloche Candlesticks Ram Heads 20th century
 
unusual matching pair of French first 950 Standard Silver Guilloche candlesticks, decorated with three matching high relieve ram’s head ornaments, with engraved geometric guilloche pattern, with further floral motif underneath each ram’s head. Each candlestick supported upon stepped round base. Each candlestick’s insert detaches, with export Mercury mark. Overall good condition, one candlestick show some previous lead work to the top of the post and post’s lower circular body (right candlestick on the photos), right candlestick shows very minor dents. Left candlestick in near excellent condition.
