The Tomei Arms 8260 Turbo Kit is undoubtedly one of the best turbo kits ever made for the Nissan Skyline GT-R. Designed for big power, this kit takes aim at users who are looking to build a very quick circuit machine. This M8260 kit is capable of squeezing 650hp from your RB26DETT engine.
This is the largest size bolt-on turbo kit from Tomei, achieving higher power numbers than the more responsive Arms 7655 kit. These turbos reach full boost at around 5000rpm, which is in a somewhat higher range, but from there achieves fierce acceleration with output characteristics that almost makes you forget it is a bolt-on turbo kit.
When driving the car on the street, the stock turbos can occasionally produce unpleasant surging at higher speeds. Tomei has designed the Arms kits to specifically resolve this issue.
On the compressor wheel the ideal rake angle for the wheel blades were extensively developed and includes an overlapping structure to prevent air exfoliation on the surface of the blade.
On the exhaust wheel the blades have been designed for maximum performance, and a special material was used that can easily withstand the scorching exhaust heat.
The Arms series turbo kits all come supplied with all the required gaskets and fitting accessories for a true bolt on application out of the box. It can be installed immediately without the need to hunt for other parts, everything you need is in the box.
The Arms Turbo Kits also come with a 1 year limited warranty after the product has been registered with Tomei Powered shortly after purchase.
This kit is fully compatible with stock or upgraded RB26s. Although we recommend upgrading the exhaust components, it will mount on the factory manifold, and use the factory outlet pipes without modifications.
