Unfortunately, the modern trend today is no longer to match accessory design to predefined specs product but rather to focus on broader product compatibility. For example, our competitors would simply email a foreign manufacture asking for any usb cable they have on the shelf. Their approach is if the connector fits than it should work, however, at Gomadic we know the long term the effects could be damaging with this approach.

Gomadic products are different. We carefully design each accessory to the exact device specification pinout requirements set by the Manufacture. If the device needs a special combination of jumpers, resistors or a secondary ground lead then that is how our product is manufactured AND tested in our USA lab by Gomadic engineers and technicians.

I am so tired of placing my order and waiting weeks for the product to arrive.
