This sale is to purchase the classic string of graduated faux pearls in cream lustre by ‘Ciro,’ with a lovely 9ct ingot gold clasp, which dates from the C1950’s. The necklace is a useful longer length. This set is complete with a pair of pierced studs, with gold plated findings. We are supplying the original presentation box.
About Ciro: The Company is recognized as the premier English manufacturer of faux pearls and was in business from 1917 - 1980’s. The 1970’s were a boom time for the company and they led the way in the development of Zirconia, a diamond substitute. They produced a significant range of superb quality costume jewellery, marketed both under there own brand name and for major jewellers & dept. store groups worldwide. Much of the later output is unsigned, but all of their output is of enduring quality and is keenly sought after.
This necklace: is a single string of graduated faux pearls, are in the classic pearlised white lustre. They measure 17'' in length including the stamped 9ct ingot shaped gold clasp.
The earrings: are a pair of matching pierced studs and feature a lovely faux pearl. the findings are the original gold plated items.
The box: The box shown is the original period item in cream shagrin, with a velvet & satin lining. It measures 4'' square. It is good order, showing only age related wear to the interior. Please see photos?
Condition
This item is in original excellent condition 1. It is in good order, with no damage or delamination to the pearls and only age related wear to the clasp. The earrings are excellent, with replaced gold plated findings. Please see the condition of the box above. All of our jewellery is cleaned, checked and ready to wear.

Where free P&P is offered, the shipping will be by Royal mail standard 1st class mail, which takes between 1-3 days in transit. Buyers may upgrade the shipping choices before check out. We always send out items, within 1 business day and buyers will be advised of any unforeseen delays.

We will mail items by Royal Mail international signed for, which is a trackable service or by courier at extra cost. All costs are highlighted in the listing or will be communicated to you at auction close. Where carriage is different we will generate a separate PayPal invoice which must be paid before goods are despatched. Returns & Refunds
We will only issue a refund on items where returns are accepted. This is clearly indicated in the listings. Items are described as honestly as possible and you should check that an item is suitable.
