The engine condition is checked over visually and a good selection of high quality, detailed photographs provided in order for you to assess whether you would like to purchase this engine. Flaws in the exterior condition, the needle valve assembly, crankcase and any other component of the engine, including ones that might devalue the engine or else impair its normal operation as a working engine, are the sole responsibility of you, the potential purchaser, to judge and/or query prior to purchase. I categorically do not guarantee by my description, or absence of description, that all features, faults and flaws have been correctly and fully assessed, even though it is my goodwill intention to do so in the interests of long-term repeat custom. Please note that I sell my vintage and classic model engines for purposes of collection, display, demonstration and/or (re-)engineering purposes only, and you should not purchase the engine if you expect or require it to function as if it is new; the exception being when it is sold as "new in box". If I check compression and bearings, I do so by hand and not by internal inspection; I therefore categorically do not provide a guarantee of the engine's internal condition and politely advise that engine condition will not be a valid reason to request a return or refund. To start/run an engine and/or tamper, dismantle, replace, repair or interfere with an engine or its component parts, then claim a return or refund, is considered bad faith and against the ethics of the honest majority of engine collectors.
