This is a wonderful and unusual mid-century sterling silver ring with a stunning green enamel floral design. It is a wonderful modernist ring of great quality and design!
The ring is in excellent condition with the enamel intact. I have left the period patina intact, but it could be polished if desired. The top of the ring is 20 mm by 30 mm. The ring sits 13 mm above the finger. The ring is currently a size 7.5 US (P UK) and can be easily resized if desired. There is evidence of a previous resizing. The ring tests for sterling silver. The ring weighs 12.2 grams.
This piece is in the category of the great Scandinavian designers including Tone Vigeland, Anna Greta Eker, and Erling Christoffersen.
The overall effect of the ring is just dynamic, dramatic and wonderful!
