This is Nelson's "Superfine Edition" bound in full tooled leather with gilt decoration and lettering on covers and spine. Five raised bands. All edges gilt. Over 1200 scripture illustrations, many Gustave Dore engravings, two plates in full color, full page of Palenstine in full color, indexes, four pages for family portraits. The original five pages for family records have been removed from the book. Leather is supple and in excellent condition. Pages show some foxing and a bit of wear. Binding is generally tight, some loose spots but holding together very well. Size: 12" x 10.5"
