Lovely old torch from the 70s or 80s , in good condition. Works great! Can take two 996 lantern batteries, those square ones with the springs on like roadwork lamps used to take. If you wanted to use thing I think I'd personally convert it to use some kind of rechargeable battery, maybe 18650 lithium cells or similar. 

Great 80s motoring accessory or movie prop etc.
