Here is an absolutely breathtaking pair of earrings of the finest quality.  The pendant earrings are 14K gold. They are adorned with the most gorgeous pietra dura flowers.  Pietra dura is mosaic work hand done in marble and semi-precious stone.  It is extremely difficult to do and this is stunning work.

The pietra dura panels date to the Victorian period, c1870.  The gold shepherd hooks are later additions.

The earrings are in wonderful condition.  There a few tiny flea bites on the edge of one of the panels and surface lines on the same panel - these are not easily visible with the naked eye and do not detract from the piece in my opinion but I wanted to mention it. The gold is in excellent condition.  The pendant earrings are 21 mm long including the hooks and 13 mm wide.  The pietra dura is 18 mm long.   They test for 14K gold.  Together they  weigh 3.8 grams.
