Old carved wood treen cup, ale cup, or wedding cup with chip carved pattern decoration, a pointed prow, and a pierced, square, fin handle; old lightly varnished pine or soft wood. Possibly Scandinavian (Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish), Baltic (Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian), Eastern European (Yugoslavia, Poland, Ukraine), or Russian; we are unable to identify it's origin or age, but are inclined to think it is 19th or early 20th Century Slavic.

Measures 3 1/2 inches high, 6 inches long, 3 inches wide.

Collectible object descriptions should report all observable condition issues, however small. After rotating this under bright photo lights, here is an inventory of variances we saw:  

• No splits in wood noted;
• Very good condition see photographs;
• No scratches even on bottom;
• Appears to have age, cannot tell how much.
