1945 SWEDISH M39 WOOL WINTER TUNIC

'Tiger' brand, 'New-old stock'.  Rear pockets have been taken off this tunic in order to improve it's appearance and comfort when sitting.  Looks great worn with a scarf and the collar turned up.  The quality of the wool is stunning – very thick and hard-wearing.  Immensely better quality than the Chinese made crap you can buy at over-inflated prices in M&S or Debenhams!

This specific tunic has been professionally taken in around the waist in order to improve both appearance and fit.  As a result, the torso of the tunic tapers up in a 'v' from the waist to the upper back, which looks impressive and masculine.  As can be seen from the images, the rear pockets have been professionally removed to bring it more into line with the German M37 style tunic.  Now, I have noticed another seller of these tunics stating that theirs are 'fitted', but this is nonsense. They were not made 'fitted' by the manufacturer. However, this particular tunic has been professionally fitted for a flattering fit & cut.

This tunic has only been tried on (for the tailor prior to the waist adjustment) but sadly no longer fits me.  Original tags are also still present!

The other versions of this tunic on ebay have been issued and they haven't been tailored, or if they haven't been issued, they are missing buttons.  This is also the only one to have the unsightly rear pockets already removed, as buyers generally prefer. ONLY ONE AVAILABLE.
