This ANTIQUE Magic Lantern Slide Projector is extremely RARE made in Dresden, Germany, by Internationale Camera Aktiengeselschaft (ICA AG), est. 1909 - 1920 Serial number 38679 on the underside of wooden frame, Electrified. Magic Lantern 15"x 6" x 8" Outer Wooden case 19.125" x 9.125" X 11.125"

The body of the lantern contains an electric filament bulb. The wooden case that is supplied is an example of excellent craftsmanship. The case has multiple functions. In the first place it serves to transport the magic lantern. The base of the lantern slits exactly into two milled holders that hold the lantern tight during the transport. When the magic lantern is placed upon it, it is a handy projection table because the lantern fits stable between the two slats on top of the case and when the end slides out it is able to hold the lid which is also a screen. Note the dove-tail corners and the steel reinforcing plates. There are various side mounts inside this box to hold wooden accessories.
