Set of six elegant Louis XVI Provincial style dining chairs by Kindel Furniture of Grand Rapids. Vintage 1960's - 1970's, and demonstrate that era's high level of design and construction. Crafted completely of solid wood, with reeded front legs capped with a joint that is decorated with a carved rosette set in a square block. A rectangular featuring caning on the side chairs, and padded upholstery on the two arm chairs. The finish is a mottled medium & dark walnut color, with a mottled effect. The caning has also been intentionally aged. The fabric is a black, grey and cream diamond pattern.

In excellent vintage condition. The frames are all completely solid, with no structural issues whatsoever. There are the usual dings and marks on the corners of the legs, but very minor. Some light wear to the finish of the backs' top rails. One lower rear leg has some varnish that has worn off and been touched up. One front leg has some heavier dings than the rest of the set. The fabric and padding is in excellent condition, save one seat that has a tiny black dot in the middle of one of the grey diamonds. The caning is intact with no breaks.

The armchairs measure 37.5" tall. They are 19" wide at the top of the back. The seats are 22"wide, 18" deep and 19.5" high. The arms are 26.25" tall.

The side chairs are 37" tall. They are 16.75" wide. The seats are 20" wide, 16" deep and 19.5" high.
