This small green cross-body bag from the J.W. Hulme Legacy Collection is perfect for an active day or night on the town!

I call this "Tinkerbelle" because it looks like her bag! It was hand-made in the U.S.A. (Minnesota) of full-grain leather with solid brass hardware.

It comes with a dust-bag and is new with tags.

This bag has an almost imperceptible stitching flaw on the back, which I've pictured (the tiny edges of the leather do not perfectly line up); however, keep in mind that it is marked-down; the full retail price is $295.

Why I sell American-made bags:  It started when I received a Coach bag I had ordered online. I checked the label and was surprised to see it had been made in China.

I actually thought Coach bags were still made in the United States, this being one reason they were so much more expensive (due to higher labor costs and stricter labor laws and environmental regulations). I decided to buy a purse from another American designer, and discovered that ALL of the big-name American bag companies (Kate Spade, Michael Kors, etc.) make most of their bags in China.

After extensive research, I found this little gem of a company, J.W. Hulme, started in 1905 in Minnesota, to be one of the few American purse manufacturers still in existence. Another great company that makes canvas backpacks and totes is Tom Bihn in Seattle. By consolidating bags from these few remaining U.S. manufacturers in my eBay store, I hope to showcase examples of fine American craftsmanship and make it easier for others to find them.
