Made in Germany 1932. This is a First Issue model 124 Meisterstuck 4810 premium range model. The father of the 134 and grandfather of the 144 etc. Very rare and important pens in the history of Montblanc. These have the ULTRA rare baby star cap tops. Only first issue 124, 126, 104, 106 etc etc 4810 Meistersuck pens have this between 1932-34. I have a 106 safety version from same date with same mini White Star logo. The 14C 4810 Meisterstuck Nib is also unique to these 1st issue by 1933-34 they became the more standard 2 tone design that continued to 134, 144 etc. Wow and what a Nib. Perfect condition with zero damage. Very creative nib full of personality. Writes with a Bold and Confident slight Oblique Broad Line that has Medium Fine line side stroke. It is also a TU (Turned Up) or Kugel (Ball) Iridium tip. These are for fast writers who love to throw a pen around a page with gusto when writing. ULTRA smooth with ZERO paper scratch. The original Ballpoint pen before Ballpoint pens even existed. Indeed most modern Fountain pens have ball iridium tips nowadays. However unlike modern Montblanc Nibs and ballpoint pens etc this wonderful rare nib is also FULL flex. Can flex from Broad to Triple Broad on the down stroke when varying levels of pressure is applied. Very user friendly. A simple joy to write with. Perfect for any hand regardless of experience.

The pen itself is made of BHR (Black Hard Rubber). Has never been re black all original colour. Has beautiful light warm patina that befits its age. Very rare to find so clean. The pen has no Cracks, Splits, Repairs, Dents, Scratches or Bite marks etc. The filling system is Button fill. Similar to 1920s Duofold etc other than these Meisterstuck pens have VERY clever fixed Blind Caps (Tail end) where as 224,234,244 etc models have screw off blind caps same as Duofold. These premium Meisterstuck fillers Blind caps unscrew and then become the push button itself (see photo 5). Unique to Montblanc premium line. To fill with bottled ink could not be easier. Simply unscrew the blind cap, place nib in ink, press blind cap down once and release, wait 5 seconds to fill, take nib out of ink and screw blind cap back down. Done. Takes less than 10 seconds and holds a huge amount of ink. System works PERFECT. Just serviced with new ink sac. All original interior fittings etc. All parts original pen.
