These goggles are one of the best! I mainly use these goggles for practice only
"These goggles are one of the best! I mainly use these goggles for practice only. I prefer to use something more low profile for racing, so I use Speed Sockets. I recommend switching the straps with a bungee cord strap to make it more comfortable! My only problem with these goggles are the nose pieces. I find it really hard to pull them off and put them on, but once you get the perfect fit, it would not be a problem."
These are adorable and don't leak
"These are adorable and don't leak. My daughter joined swim team this year and another mom recommended Vanquishers, they are perfect. They are mirrored too, so when doing the backstroke your child won't be blinded by the bright sun."
Lookin' Cool in the Pool
"Years ago I saw that Olympic swimmers sponsored by Speedo were wearing them for competitions and that's how I got hooked on them. As a backstroke swimmer who sometimes swims outdoors, it's imperative to have mirrored goggles that will reduce glare and the gold ones seem to work best. If you're looking to be a bit low profile but would still like to see in an indoor pool, then I recommend a lighter lens color. I have these in a pale blue lens and strap and they're good for that.
I'm not a fan of swedish goggles for back as they aren't very comfortable and the Vanquishers still offer decent peripheral vision. The nose piece is unreasonably difficult to swap out - a gentle back and forth twisting seems to work best. All goggles fog up. Maybe Sables ones don't but at this price point they will fog up. It helps to take your goggles into the shower with you and wash the chlorine off. Saliva, anti-fog spray, baby shampoo - there are a few ways to prevent fog. Some also suggest swimming with a bit of water in your goggles."
Great goggles for a first time goggle wearer
"My first set of goggles. I won't swim without goggles anymore.
I started going to the gym and the chlorine would burn my eyes so bad, so I finally did tons of research and people recommended the speedo vanquishers. I bought them and fell in love.
You people who say it fogs up etc, you can't expect a chemical to last. I took the advice around here and others online and spit on them and they work fine. Only wish the 2.0 came in clear so I can use it at night."
Great goggles
"These are some of the nicest goggles I have swam with. I am a US swimmer and I use these about 15-18 hours a week. These can hold up to very intense training and the anti-fog is nice and last quite long. The look of these goggles are nice and there are many different adjustments you can make to these such as the nose bridge and the elastics around your head.
Highly recommend for recreation of professional use"
