This is a brand new battery monitor designed to assist in battery care, conservation and system maintenance of battery powered systems that use storage batteries. It provides the user with information on battery "volts", "amps" and "amp-hours" and "battery percent full" information, based on measuring the amp-hours removed from the battery system. This TriMetric works with 48V battery systems standard as well as 12 and 24V systems. Includes as standard a measure of lightning protection and overvoltage protection.
Please note that the TriMetric requires an external shunt located near the batteries to measure "amps" and "amp-hours". This item includes a Shunt model MKA-100-100, "100amp/100 mV" Max Amps= 75A. The meter readout may be located hundreds of feet away from batteries and is usually connected to the shunt with a 4 wire cable. This system comes with the 35 Feet Connecting cable: 22 gauge, 4 wire twisted pair for TriMetric monitors, which includes fuse and ring connectors on one end for battery and shunt connections and the wiremold mounting box for the TM2030-A.
