We go to estate sales virtually every weekend and come across a wide array of unique items.  We are constantly adding to our growing online inventory.  We pick up new items from all over the world and all over the United States.  We add 25-50 new items every week and we will be continually expanding upon that number of new items weekly.  If you'd like to, feel free to add us to your saved seller's list and check back often.  We would be honored to add you to our repeat customer list.  We also put items on sale regularly, so keep an eye out for new sale items.

There is always a Sale by TheBay.

We ask what we consider to be a fair price for anything we sell.  We understand that our idea of a fair price may be someone else's 'that's too much' cost.  If that's the case, feel free to make us an offer and will consider it.  However, please avoid making lowball offers.  If you make us a lowball offer, we will thank you kindly for your interest and respectfully decline your offer.

Now onto the item for sale.

For sale is vintage Tower 8mm Editor, model 8339, in its original carrying case with its original instructions.

This editor has a built in viewer and splicer and was sold only at Sears Roebuck & Co stores.

We don't have any 8mm film to run through the machine, nor do we know how to use this piece.  We swung the reel arms out and they worked as expected.  We also turned it on and it seems to work properly.  The viewer lights up, but is a bit dim.

Item will be shipped priority mail with the USPS.  It weighs almost 10 pounds and will weigh 14 to 15 pounds when packed for shipping.  We place a layer of plywood the same size as the box bottom in all our heavy items.  This prevents the item from breaking through the bottom of the box, but adds a bit more weight.  We prefer to err on the side of caution for heavy items.

Thanks for looking and God bless!

We have never received a negative feedback in over 14 years on eBay.  We understand that our customers don't have the security of picking up our items and inspecting them in their hands.  We take numerous pictures of all of our items and provide a detailed description of any imperfections we may find.  That doesn't mean we always get it correct.  If we don't, we won't throw you out with the bath water.  We accept returns for any reason and give you 14 days to make your decision.  Even if you decide you just don't like or want the item, let us know, send it back and we'll return your payment immediately upon receiving the item back.

We also pack our items very well.  We use bubble wrap and/or packaging peanuts along with thick cardboard boxes.  If an item is breakable, we clearly mark that on every side of the box except the bottom.  We have received dozens of positive comments regarding our packaging and we will always package our items with the same care as we would want our purchases to be packed.
