For sale is a vintage 1960's Heathkit 1/8 Scale RC Car- Ford GT 40 Body & Veco 19 Nitro Engine. I purchased this car at an estate sale. A great RC collector's piece. The chassis is 17" long. It is very clean and has no rust. The total length of this car is about 19". The rubber on the wheels is in great shape, not dry or cracked anywhere. The rubber on the rear wheels is softer than the rubber on the front wheels. The diameter of the back wheel is 3 3/16" and the width is 1 3/8". The front wheels are 2 15/16" in diameter and 1 1/8" wide. The engine is a Veco 19. The crank turns but it looks like there is some dried up grease inside so you can't figure out the compression. The engine has not been started for a while so it probably needs to be taken apart and cleaned. The body does have some cracks on the back and front. No electronics.
