The upper is engineered with ClutchFit Technology, a second skin of advantages that activates under pressure, locking feet down to provide powerful support with a superior fit and feel. Storm³ and GORE-TEX membrane technologies incorporated into the upper provide uncompromising waterproof and windproof protection. Carbon fiber shank plates embedded into the EVA midsoles provide lightweight support and enhanced protection against rocks, roots and fallen limbs. Aggressive rubber lug outsoles feature lugs specifically engineered to hug corners and give the most traction.
