Mantra Trail
The Mantra Trail sets the benchmark for a true UK hardtail. The lightweight custom butted 6061 alloy frame provides the rider with a nimble and playful geometry for unparalleled amounts of fun. A new feature for 2016 is the introduction of a new Chip-Slot dropout system allowing future upgradeability with options ranging from 10mm QR to 142 x 12mm axles. Sitting under the 44mm integrated headtube is the Suntour Raidon XC LO-R Air Sprung suspension fork, providing 120mm of trail taming travel to iron out the trails and featuring rebound adjustment and 15mm axle for ultimate stiffness. Kore XCD wheelset makes easy work of the trails and paired with the incredible traction of the Maxxis Ardent and Crossmark tyre combo riding confidence is pushed to a whole new level. Keeping the fun under control are the powerful and dependable Shimano M395 hydraulic disc brakes providing impressive performance even in wet muddy conditions. The Mantra has been nicely finished with a Saracen Custom cockpit consisting of 720mm wide oversized bars and 70mm stem for fine tuning the handling and dynamic ride quality the Mantra provides.

The Mantra is now on its third season running on a 27.5 Inch wheeled platform. The Mantra Range sets the benchmark for a true UK hardtail for others to follow with its incredibly agile frame geometry and true off road capability. With the range set at competitive key price points providing an option for all types of riders and budgets. One of the key factors on the production of the Mantra is that it’s a Mountain bike built and designed for mountain bikers by mountain bikers. For 2016 the frames have evolved to incorporate Saracen’s very own chip-slot dropout system for long term upgradeability with options from 10mm QR all the way to 142 x 12mm axles.
