Up fr bid is a new in box genuine Montblanc Writers Edition Daniel Defoe Three (3) Pen Sets that contains a fountain pen, a ballpoint pen, and a mechanical pencil. This Writers Edition Daniel Defoe was released as a Limited Edition in 2014 and only 10000 pieces of fountain pen were produced. What's interesting is that the mechanical pencil is actually more rare as you can not buy it alone. It only comes with this 3 pen set.

As a tribute to the great English writer Daniel Defoe, the creator of Robinson Cursoe, the shape of the limited edition Daniel Defoe is based on Robinson Crusoe's paddle with which he tried in vain to leave the island on a raft. Inspired by the color and structure of wood, the precious resin of the cap and barrel symbolize Crusoe's island life which was reduced to the simplest of things. Fine engravings of typical 18th century ornaments that decorated book covers at the time, adorn the cap ring and cone. The elaborately decorated clip in the shape of a feather is reminiscent of Crusoe's loyal parrot companion, Poll, who, as a fine engraving, decorates the ruthenium-plated 750 gold nib. Likewise, filigree engravings decorate the rings and are based on the stitching of Robinson's clothing which he had to make himself after being ship-wrecked. The signature of Daniel Defoe is immortalized as a fine engraving on the cap, rounding off this fascinating Limited Edition in honor of the creator.
