For your consideration is rare and absolutely gorgeous vintage old Royal Bayreuth porcelain china tea cup & saucer set in an elegant Pink Rose flower pattern on a pastel pink background with heavy gilding.   

Both pieces are in excellent gently used condition. Marked on the base "Royal Bayreuth 1794, Germany, US Zone”

Tea cup measures about 4" across by 2.25" high, Saucer is 5.5" across.  The tea cup and saucer are round shaped with a lightly scalloped gold rim. It is a footed, wide mouth tea cup, with gold trim and paint intact, both pieces ping nicely. Colors are very vibrant.

This delightful cup and saucer set is in very good condition, free of chips, cracks or crazing, and is sure to please a discriminating collector of fine china, or complement a prized tea service on those special occasions.
