These are beautiful estate jewels!  Absolutely the finest quality.  The gorgeous carved coral head creates a magical jewel!  Just the type of antique jewels that we look for and love!

This pendant has all the elements of great gems.   The hand carved coral head is natural undyed coral of the most wonderful red color - and everybody wants red coral today! It depicts a beautiful women.   The carving on this jewel is just superb with extraordinary detail and expression - a peaceful beautiful face, richly detailed eyes, incredible nose, lips and the work on the hair is also extraordinary.  Truly an exquisite early work of art!!!  

The coral cameo has been mounted in a stunning raised beaded setting with openwork!  I believe the pendant dates to the Victorian period, c1870-1890 although it could be earlier or later.  You can just get lost in the wonderful details and the history of the piece! 

In a fine antique jewelry store this would be approximately $1500!

The pendant comes from a prominent New York city estate.  It is classic and elegant and has great impact - with all the elements that you look for in antique jewelry - quality, design, originality, sparkle, drama, just a perfect estate jewel!!!

The pendant is in excellent condition.  There is no damage to the coral.   The gold tests for 14K.  The coral face is 22 mm long and 15 mm wide.    With the bale it is 33 mm long.  It weighs 3.6 grams
