Description A super and very fine 19 C South Indian Tanjore Kutch Copper and Silver Lota in as found condition wear to the silver detail and also to the Deities around the waist band , signed on the base as shown .
This beautiful item has been much loved and cleaned over the years , the detail well worked , it measures approx 12.5 cm high x 9 cm wide at the rim x 13.6 cm wide at the middle . . weight approx 642 gr .
The base has a makers mark unknown , the body heavy copper with a vertical brass welded seam , the base rim also brass welded .
It would be a fine item in any quality South Indian copper collection or displayed in any fine Indian home .
