  LOT DESCRIPTION & CONDITION:   * I call this Candy Dispenser for an example. It could be used for dispensing many items with its unique predetermined dispensed amount mechanism such as Coffee, Tea, Salt, Sugar, Nuts etc. I've never seen a another one. This came from a recent huge estate auction.  Here offered for auction, a beautiful Very Rare 1915 Country Store Glass Candy* Dispenser Machine 19 1/2" T. Is stamped PAT'D MAY 18, 1915. The Original glass sphere is about 8" D. and has no cracks or chips. The cast iron 3 legged stand and rod have minor surface rust. The non magnetic lid and dispensing mechanism have slight oxidation. Dispensing mechanism works well and freely. Overall it is solid and very good condition for age. I have included  pictures. Please view pictures for best description. S/H/I is $18.00.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, WALTER A. BARROWS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Belvidere, in the county of Boone and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Measuring Devices, of which the following is a specification.

One of the primary objects of my invention is to provide an improved dispensing device for delivering at will a determined quantity of material. Another object is to provide a dispensing device with means for varying the amount to be delivered; and a further object is to provide the device with'a tiltable discharge receptacle, and a single means for varying the capacity of the receptacle and for controlling the discharge therefrom.Scroll further to see patent diagram.
