  • The Zipp 1080 front wheel is in excellent condition and dates from 2011.  Zipp decals were removed.  It is mounted with a Vittoria Corsa Evo KS 21 mm tubular with plenty of treadwear left.
  • The Lightweight disc is in good condition (see photos) and dates from 2007.  Please note the following.  Lightweight discs are lenticular not flat and the lightest disc wheels made, currently manufactured by CarbonSports in Germany.  These disc wheels are often found in time trials of the TDF plastered with stickers from a team sponsor, e.g., Cadel Evans in 2011, limited to their GC contenders because of cost.  More recently Taylor Phinney has used them in time trials.  This first generation disc has carbon spokes placed over a foam core with a Mylar like covering over the assembly.  Despite being very careful, the disc suffered some gouges to the foam core, which are not structural but could affect aerodynamics.  These were filled with a mixture of epoxy and colloidal silica and clear coated.  The partial removal of the ink spelling Lightweight on one side of the disc was due to use of a cleaning solvent.  Note the brake track has some brake pad wear that I have tried to document in a photo but is not sufficiently deep to measure.  The freehub bearings are very smooth.  It is mounted with a Vittoria Corsa Evo Cx 23 mm tubular with plenty of treadwear left.  On Weight Weenies the 2005 Lightweight disc is reported to weigh 985 g.
  • The 10 speed 11-23 Record cassette is in excellent condition with few signs of wear as in photo, larger cogs are titanium.
  • Included is a well padded 2-wheel bag that is like new.  Not sure if it ever was used but has some dust from storage.  Also included are a pair of generic QR skewers.
