We have for sale a large pressed glass water jug or pitcher. It was produced to look like a hobnail style, but actually shows 3 faces of a square, repeated all over the jug. It is footed with a partially serrated rim. The handle is plain, and the foot has a starburst under the base.
The jug measures just under 7 1/2 inches in height, with a maximum width of     7 3/4 inches (pouring spout tip to handle edge) with a foot diameter of 3 3/8 inches.
It is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is a strange roughly U shaped irregular scratch? on the inside of the base (see photograph). It can be felt with a nail, but being a zigzag shape, difficult to imagine what caused it, certainly only a surface mark, and likely to be associated with production. There are 3 points on the outside of the foot, slightly raised, where glass pressed together. Also some wear to the base.
A very nice vintage jug, great for a collector, but certainly still very usable for water, juice etc.

Will be packed to arrive safe and secure via Hermes tracked courier.
