A very beautiful Japanese made guitar. Bought by me around 1992 I think. Gigged on occassion but mostly played in the house. Three fantastic single coil pickups. It has an amazingly easy profile, oiled maple neck with a lovely flame finish. The frets are clean and without any real wear. The sunburst paint job is lovely, I put a little dink in the edge very recently whist giving it an airing. But you can see from the picture that this is not too bad. This is a really great guitar that has a five way pick up selector. It has a carved back that sits beautifully when playing standing or sitting. It has very high quality Gotoh machine heads that hold the strings in tune through hours of playing. The tremolo arm is great and the guitar stays in tune when using it.
It can give a lovely tele style country sound, a crisp Strat blues or cranked up give some real power metal. The out of phase sound gives a remarkable Robert Cray sound. This model was used for a while by Steve Via and by Michael Jackson's guitarist so you can imagine the versatility.
It was made by an off-shoot of Ibanez, but has more in common sonically with Fender. It is made with much more quality that any new Fender from Japan or Mexico. The neck remains as playable and straight as the day it was bought.
It comes with the original gigbag.
I am going to regret selling this but hate having guitars in the house that I don't play, I feel disloyal to them!
Anyone who buys this will not regret it. It is of the same quality that you would pay £1000 for if made by Fender.
If I can work out how to do it, I'll play something and put it on Youtube and add it to the listing.
I will post it but it will cost a bit as I need to keep it safe. I would prefer to hand it to some one!
