VINTAGE CODEG RANCH PHONE - RARE - C.1950's

100% Original from around the 1950's - This is a scarce tinplate and wood toy!  CODEG Made in England detailed to top of the unit, this is a stunning money bank / toy, great for any collection.

The wind up mechanism which makes the phone ring works great, but there is heavy rust to the metal parts so the movement isn't as fluid as it would have been.  Tinplate lithograph cowboy and Indian images look superb.  The earpiece is made from turned wood and the mouthpiece, which can be moved up and down, is tinplate.

In good condition for its age but does have wear throughout, with rust to the belss/.  The money box compartment at the bottom is missing its tinplate opening flap which you would have originally opened with a key.  Tinplate parts have wear and scuffs.  The wallpaper background to the main board is missing around the top and left side.  Still, these are rare in any condition and would still look great on display.

Please see photos for exact condition.

Made in England  - Measures 13" in height and 6" wide.
